UK singer/songwriter Etta Bond comes through with her latest EP ‘2 Metres Apart’ – inspired by her thoughts and feelings during the unprecedented times of the coronavirus lockdown.
Over laid back neo-soul infused production, Etta’s ‘2 Metres Apart’ shows the songstress airing her frustrations with the current lockdown rules being put in place across the UK. Her autobiographical account of current times delves deep into the mixed bag of emotions we’re all going through and can all relate to during this uncertain and exhausting period. With tracks including ‘Break My Quarantine and ‘On A Beach’, Etta manages to paint a perfect picture of what it’s like dealing with the mental strain currently being placed on all of us during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic. Each track of this EP will be given it’s own video to accompany, with everything recorded and shot during lockdown over one weekend in Etta’s apartment.
With each track of ‘2 Metres Apart’ being written as a different account of the quarantine period. There’s no doubt this forthcoming EP is set to impress, not only for it’s incredibly relatable and on-point content, but also due to her seamless musical ability and obvious passion for classic R&B/Soul. With lockdown’s end on the horizon and the UK heating up more with each day, the remainder of 2020 has ‘Etta Bond’ written all over it.
