Cincinnati’s best kept secret, emo rock artist Lincoln, has announced his new Saint Bernard 7”, out digitally this Friday, September 18th and available for pre-order on limited vinyl via I Surrender Records. The 7” features new versions of his viral hit single “Saint Bernard,” including the Sam Means Remix. The original version has over 62 million streams, and made an appearance on both the TikTok and Spotify Viral Charts. Fans can listen to the new song, produced by The Format’s own Sam Means, now on Substream Magazine. The vinyl, which will be available in the I Surrender webstore, is pressed on white opaque vinyl and limited to 500 copies, with an exclusive Saint Bernard etching on side B.
Lincoln shares: “No joke, Sam is my childhood hero and I couldn’t have been more excited to have had him remix this song.”
Lincoln’s such an egotistical piece of shit he named his band after himself. One day Sam Means (The Format) tweeted a link to a YouTube cover of one of his songs that Lincoln recorded. It caught the ears of I Surrender Records (along with Lincoln’s original songs), and in a moment of sheer enthusiasm couldn’t resist reaching out and signing him.
Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, Lincoln’s music is equal parts pretentious and angsty. His debut EP, A Constant State of Ohio, was released in January 2017 on I Surrender Records. In this EP you’ll peer into the honesty of this 19 year old self-aware mind of teenage rebellion in a way you haven’t heard before. or maybe you have… FUCK IT! Just listen.
Lincoln has begun working on his debut full-length album with A Constant State of Ohio producer Brett Romnes, whose previous credits also include The Front Bottoms, Hot Mulligan, Oso Oso, and more.
Until then, he’s excited to share the Saint Bernard 7”, set to be released this Friday, September 18th via I Surrender Records.
